Kann Sie Deutsch?

I promise myself to post a new German phrase every now and then here on my blog so that I’ll learn German faster. Decided to relearn German since I now have more time for myself.

So, the German phrase for the day is: ich bin immer noch stinke sauer! which means I’m still mad at you!. This phrase is courtesy of AnP of PinayExpat and inspired by Ceej.
(I don’t understand how that phrase is so, since if I take the whole phrase literally, that means: I am always still (stinke=stink, sauer=sourly: as I’ve searched on Babelfish). That’s odd.)

Kann Sie Deutsch? is actually wrong. Either “Können Sie Deutsch?” (Can you speak German?) or “Kann sie Deutsch?” (Can she speak German?). Or even “Können sie Deutsch?” (Can they speak German?).

Don’t worry, Übung macht die Meisterin or practice makes it perfect.
