How To Differenciate Products Made in China

Nowadays, due to the melamin scare that have been included in dairy products from China, people have become cautious about the origin of the products they are purchasing. The easiest way for me to know where the product was made is through reading the product’s barcode. I believe that almost all products that we find in the grocery have it.

Products made in China have 690, 691, and 692 as the first three numbers in the barcode.  471 is from Taiwan.

This product is made in Taiwan.
